About Me
My name Is Nyomi Romero. I specialize in directing, Videography, assisting camera, editing, and screenplay.
The art I create illustrates an array of emotions and stories from award-winning short films to music festival media productions.
I document my creative process, as well as my experiences on other sets through my Instagram page, muito.bom.media.
My first Passion Project
“Perte de Mots” (2025)
"Perte de Mots” was the first short film I made for myself. I wrote, directed and produced it.
The story behind it is one very dear to me, and I am very grateful to those that helped me bring it to life.
I wanted to to bring awareness and illustrate the importance of mental health and how it has an impact on ones relationships. I especially wanted to shine a spotlight and honor the ASL community within my short because I believe that it is a topic constantly overlooked by the entertainment industry.

“til your Ears Bleed” is an underground rave collective based in the inland empire.
I am the stationary videographer as well as the creative director for the production.

Side B Productions is a film collective and emerging production company founded by filmmaker Evan Gallegos. Built on intentional, emotionally grounded storytelling, Side B develops short films and visual work centered on empathy, personal truth, and honest perspective.
I have been a part of Side B since 2025 as their 2nd AC. I have also acted in our upcoming short “Pink and Blue” which premiered at the Golden Eagle Film Festival 2026 where it won Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Director.

Zarin Tasnim is an independent film director and photographer. I have had the honor to be her 2nd Assistant Camera for “The Eyes Beneath The Clouds”, a tribute film dedicated to Wada Al Fayoume. “The Eyes Beneath the Clouds” was selected to premiere at the RCC Semi-Annual Film Festival (Spring 2025). The short film was also screened at the Social Justice Film Screening at the Global Muslim Village (2026).
I had the opportunity to Audio Assist for her short film “Rhythm”, which also premiered at the 2024 RCC Semi-Annual Film Festival.
